Paul Sado

Screenwriter and Director Paul Sado was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens. He began his career as an actor, appearing on Law And Order and alongside Kevin Hart in his first film Paper Soldiers (Universal). He co-wrote, produced, and starred in the IFC Film The Undeserved before choosing to focus entirely on writing and directing. Sado consulted on Tom McCarthy’s Win Win starring Paul Giamatti and Bobby Cannavle and went on to co-write the screenplay for The Cobbler (Image Entertainment) starring Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman, Steve Buscemi, and Method Man, set for release in 2015.

Eric Haywood

Writer, producer and director Eric Haywood joins illeana on today’s podcast. He’s written on shows such as “Private Practice,” “Soul Food: The Series,” “Empire,” and “Power.” His career started out in music videos, where he learned about success being in “the finishing of a project.” This is a great interview about the nuts and bolts of writing.
